Do you want to do Agility?

If you think Agility would be a great sport to try with your dog and would like to register your interest in joining the Hawkesbury Dog Agility Club (HDAC), then please complete the Application to join Beginners Class form below.

Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee you membership with HDAC and that we will be in contact with you if your application to join has been successful. As we only permit a limited number of new members per intake, please also be aware that your application may be placed on a waitlist.

New dogs joining HDAC must be over the age of nine months old and no older than eight years of age due to the physical requirements of the sport. Dogs younger than nine months of age are encouraged to join their local obedience training club.

Declaration

I understand that my submitted application does not guarantee membership with HDAC and that I will be contacted via email if I am successful or if I am placed on a waitlist.

I declare that my dog is not a restricted or banned breed in NSW, and that my dog does not have an restrictions or dangerous dog conditions imposed by my local council and is permitted to be in public spaces.

My dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations or has a current titre. I understand that membership with HDAC will require my dog to be vaccinated against kennel cough and that I will not bring my dog to training or club events should it be ill, injured, or unwell.

I understand that membership with HDAC is annual and that I will be required to renew my membership fees yearly if I am successful in joining. I also agree to pay the initial joining and weekly ground fees as set out by the club’s membership form.

I understand that HDAC strives to protect it’s membership and I will abide by current NSW Health guidelines. I will not attend training should I feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19.

I confirm that my dog has basic obedience skills, and I understand that my dog will need to have a reliable recall, and can perform both a sit and a stay confidently to attend training classes at HDAC.
